Who We Are
Southern & Co. Marketplace, or So&Co, is Oklahoma’s most eclectic boutique for women’s fashion. Located in a historic downtown building, our brick-and-mortar location in Elk City is just minutes from Historic Route 66. Plus, we’re an easy trip from Oklahoma City, Tulsa, or Amarillo!
What started as a traveling boutique at Texas rodeos & other events back in 2014 is now a well established fabulous mix of western glam in the heart of Elk City. Everything you’ll find at So&Co is hand-selected by our owner, Kassandra! Clothing, accessories, home and gift items — each and every piece is scouted by her eye for beauty. Plus, when you shop at So&Co, you’re supporting a small business with BIG dreams! Our long-time Manager, Madi, is always at the shop ready to help you out!
Meet Kassandra
Hey there! I’m Kassandra, but yall can call me Kass. I’m the owner of Southern & Co. Marketplace. My passion in life is to help make other women feel BEAUTIFUL and to enrich the lives of those around me.
A true Cali-girl at heart, after spending my youth in the beautiful Coachella Valley in Palm Desert, I moved to Texas and married a cowboy. We were blessed with two beautiful children, and after moving to Oklahoma and enjoying some time at home with my kiddos, I decided to start pursuing my passion again.
As a young girl I was inspired by my grandparent’s entrepreneurial spirit and their business adventures. I can fondly remember playing with my toy cash register & ‘checking people out,’ so I’ve always had this desire to connect with others and knew I wanted to have my very-own store one day.
Dreams don’t work unless you do, so I did — and I am! Everything you see in our store has been picked by me, from all over.
Whether you’re planning a first-time trip or you’re making a regular weekly visit, you’ll quickly find there’s no place quite like So&Co — and when you’re here, you’re family.

Meet madi
Madi here! I started working at Southern & Co. back in 2019. I started out as a simple sales associate and worked my way up to store manager back in 2021. I have had such a great experience working here with Kass, over the past 3.5 years and have met some lifelong friends along the way. She’s a pretty fabulous boss if you ask me!! I am a fellow dr. pepper addict, so it was meant to be!
I love helping the locals find the perfect outfit, and I have a blast running soco’s social media platforms everyday. Our online people are just as important to us as the locals!
I was born and raised in Hammon, OK, and I am very family oriented. I am a simple gal at heart, so I love to relax at home when I’m not working at the shop!
If you stop by in store you will most likely see me, unless I’m on a post office or bank run! So come see me in store, I would love to meet you!
